But from those woods she emerged as a powerful spirit, the Girl With Nine Tails. Her lover was killed and she then cursed the Emperor’s bloodline so he and all his heirs would never have children again and their dynasty would die out. Now she is one of the few remaining spirits to guide the Seirei no Samura in this time of strife, guiding them against the surge of Oni.
